This story has absolutely blown me away! The words Lily used and ideas she had for her warning story are so fabulous I just had to type it up straight away and put it on the website! I have corrected her speech marks punctuation, but all the vocabulary and other punctuation are as originally written. --Mrs Alexander
Lily's warning story
Once, there was a small, wooden village and in one of the houses lived a small, dark haired boy. His name was Olie and he wanted more than anything to see the dark, beautiful jungle on the other side of the village. One day when his parents were not looking, he crept off into the jungle! Just then he met a small girl, she was just Olie's age with dark, glossy hair. "Don't touch my leopard!" she cried. But Olie just couldn't help it, so he crept over and did it! "Stop it now!" cried Eve and then the fierce cat stopped at her command. "I told you not to touch it!" cried the brave girl. "But then you go and touch it!" she went on, and when she had finished she grumpily sent him home, and he never went in that dark, murky jungle again.
