FoCS

.Welcome!
We are the Friends of Cranbourne, otherwise known as FoCS and we would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little of what we do for our school and how you too can get involved.
We are an active team of working Mums, Dads, Grandparents, Carers and Guardians that raise funds for the school throughout the school year through a variety of events from school discos, quiz nights to Christmas and Summer Fayres.
All the money we raise goes to our school. We have previously provided new outside play equipment, a new playground surface, bike/scooter shelters, reading books for all the classrooms, a significant contribution towards the new Jubilee room and a new computer suite!
The FoCS team meet on a regular basis, usually once a term, sometimes more depending on the event. Our meetings are warm and friendly and usually last a couple of hours one evening. You can get involved by attending these meetings or if you would prefer you can sign up to being a helper at the events we run. We always need lots of help either with ideas for new events, setting up things, prepping for the event or even just clearing away. A bigger pool of volunteers means events can run! And we never want to cancel an event!
Schools are becoming more and more dependent on their PTAs for fundraising revenue to supplement the school budget. You can play an important role in helping the school acquire key resources as well as reward the children with some well-earned treats!
So, if you want to get involved, however much time you are able to spare, even just as and when needed, to help raise money for our school then you can either sign up via our Facebook page FoCS Hoddesdon or drop your details to our red FoCS post box in the main office.
We are a friendly team and we don’t bite so please join us and let’s see what amazing things we can do for our school.
We really do look forward to meeting you!
