School Council

Our School Council represents the views of all our pupils. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community. It is made up of three elected representatives from each year group in years 2-6. For reception and year 1 class contributions are received in writing from their class teachers. The council meets every fortnight during term time to discuss issues raised at class councils and to give the children an opportunity to share their ideas about proposed improvements to the school. The Council makes a valuable contribution towards the continued success of Cranbourne School.

Having a school council actively contributes to our We Are Young Citizens programme.
